Apparently, the church inspired JRR Tolkien’s door to Moria. Then to celebrate with champagne at the Bell Inn situated in the picturesque Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The Bell Inn is considered by many to be JRR Tolkien’s inspiration for the ‘Prancing Pony’, Middle Earth’s most famous pub in ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
