MEET THE TEAM

Bec - Managing Director

Having dreamt for years of running her own events business, Bec founded The Cotswold Proposal Planners back in 2021. The idea was sparked by her very own surprise engagement and passion for visiting beautiful spots around the Cotswolds – she has always loved a good proposal story and will go above and beyond to make sure yours is one you want to tell again and again! With a wealth of experience managing large scale events, Bec demonstrates an unmatched attention to detail and an unwavering ability to stay calm and collected. You can rest assured you are in extremely capable hands with Bec as your proposal planner!

Top Proposal Tip: Show your loved one how well you know them by thinking carefully about every detail of your proposal. Pop the question on a date that is special to you both (be sure to start planning well in advance to secure that date!), choose a location that you will enjoy returning to over the years and include as many of your partner’s favourite things as possible – from food to flowers and everything in between!

Beth - Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator

Beth has worked alongside Bec ever since finishing her degree in Events Management in 2020. Known for her creative flair and quick thinking, Beth can pull together a plan for your proposal in a flash whilst never overlooking a single detail. With previous experience planning events in the charity sector, Beth loves the rewarding nature of working in the events industry and takes pride in ensuring all her clients’ expectations are exceeded.

Top Proposal Tip: Why not incorporate photos of you and your partner to make the proposal décor truly your own! Personalise the occasion further by creating a bespoke proposal playlist with songs that are symbolic of your love story.

Pippa - Business Management and Events Assistant

Partway through her study of Events Management, Pippa has joined the team for the duration of her placement year. A self-confessed perfectionist, Pippa always strives for the very best and is constantly exploring new ideas to satisfy clients. She is passionate about crafting memories which will last a lifetime and, having recently discovered a keen interest in marketing, also enjoys writing our blogs and creating social media content.

Top Proposal Tip: Make a day of your proposal by incorporating some sort of activity! This is a great way to get your loved one to the proposal location without drawing suspicion.

Debbie - In House Florist

Whilst we work with several local florists who supply most of our bouquets, we enlist the help of our extremely talented in-house florist for larger floral arrangements. Debbie first discovered her love for flower arranging whilst assisting with the bouquets and displays for Bec’s wedding. Soon after, she attended several floristry courses to hone her skills, her enthusiasm growing with each completed class. Today, Debbie creates beautifully elaborate, bespoke floral displays for our clients which never cease to amaze them! Her innate resourcefulness allows her to blend every element seamlessly.

Top Proposal Tip: Preserve the memory of your proposal forever by gifting your partner some form of keepsake when you pop the question or by booking a photographer and/or videographer to capture the moment.
